Digital live sketching (iPad Pro)
About 5–7 minutes per guest. The drawing appears live on a large screen while I work, which draws a crowd on its own. Printed on the spot in A6 to A4, and guests can download their file via QR code. Your logo or an event background can be built in beforehand.

At larger events more people want a drawing than any artist can finish. I photograph the guests I can't get to and deliver their portraits digitally afterwards, via a private page and QR code.

About me
I've been a professional artist for 17 years, and drawing live at events for the last six. Thousands of guests at events for Warner Bros., Blizzard, Coca-Cola and Starbucks.The speed comes from the decade before that — concept art for a games studio, background painting for an animated feature film, and portrait work. That foundation is why a five-minute drawing still holds up.Manga is the reason I started drawing at all, and living in Japan was the plan for a long time. In November 2025 I moved here with my wife and our three-year-old daughter, to Kamagaya in Chiba, about 40 minutes from central Tokyo. I hold an artist visa and work here permanently.I work digitally on an iPad and traditionally in ink and pencil, and I speak Japanese, English, German and Russian. In practice that means I can talk to your venue, your staff and your guests — often all three in the same evening.My work in Japan is still young. The 17 years behind it are not.

Can you invoice us in Japan?
Yes. Japanese invoices and receipts, paid by bank transfer. I hold a valid artist visa and work here legally.Do you handle communication with the venue?
Yes, in Japanese. Most hotels and event spaces prefer that, and it takes the coordination off your team.Our guests are a mix of Japanese and international staff.
That's the situation I work in most often. I switch between Japanese, English and German during the session — it usually becomes part of the entertainment.How many guests can you draw?
Around 8 per hour in black and white, 5 in colour. For larger groups, see the digital follow-up above — nobody misses out.How far ahead should we book?
October to January is the busiest period by far, because of year-end and New Year parties. For those dates, earlier is better.What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
We agree the terms in advance, and I handle changes reasonably.
